Cádiz - Spain

Cadiz is a Province located at the southwestern of Spain wich belongs to Costa de la Luz and it is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean.

I went to Cadiz with two friends for almost one week. The three of us love sunbathing so we definitely enjoyed everyday spent on the beach.

Mendoza, Argentina

I would like to talk about my hometown. I was born in Mendoza.

Mendoza is a city in the west of Argentina, in the east of the Cordillera de Los Andes.

After a big earthquake in 1861 the city was built around five squares.

The biggest square is Plaza Independencia and the other ones are strategically located: Plaza España, Plaza Chile, Plaza Italia and Plaza Independencia. They stand out by their symmetry.

Ireland

We went to Ireland in 2008 with a few friends.
We visited Dublin and Belfast.

Olot

Last week we went to Olot in Gerona with a few friends.

The weather was horrible to travel and the forecast wasn't better: alert for freezing cold and snow!

Saturday early in the morning we left to Olot.

Lisbon

We went to Lisbon last month for Christmas.

We arrived to the city on Saturday 22nd at 8 am.

We had to get up early to board the flight.

In Lisbon the weather was good, but there was fog. Because of that, the pilot landed the airplane in automatic mode!!

Lanzarote - Canary Islands

Lanzarote is a beautiful island where you can relax and enjoy the landscape.

La Serena, Chile

After spending some days in Argentina, we went to visit La Serena in Chile.
We had never been in these country before.
La Serena is an important city of Chile after Santiago that is the capital of this country.

Budapest, Hungary

Four years ago we went to Budapest to celebrate Christmas.

Amsterdam

I went to Amsterdam last year on October. We had a few days to visit this city.

We were ready to travel: umbrella and raincoats in our bags.

The weather in Amsterdam is wet so you can never forget these things because you’ll always need them.

Madrid

La escapada a Madrid la contaré en Spanish.

Fuimos en abril, para Semana Santa.

Ya conocíamos Madrid, pero teníamos ganas de visitar de nuevo esta cuidad.

Nos quedamos en un hotel en el barrio de Salamanca. Un NH cerca de la calle Serrano y el Paseo de la Castellana.

Esta zona está llena de tiendas espectaculares.

Para desayunar, encontramos en la misma calle del hotel, un bar-panadería de argentinos. Estaba muy bien, además de ser muy chic! (No me acuerdo del nombre)

Fue una sorpresa, encontrar en plena Capital madrileña procesiones.

Vimos la salida de la Procesión del Cristo de los Alabarderos del Palacio Real y el encuentro del Cristo yacente y la Virgen, en la procesión de la Soledad.

New York City

I would like to start this blog with my travel to New York City. 

We went last year, on July. I think it was the best travel that we had done.

The hotel was near to Natural Science Museum, on the west side of Central Park: The Excelsior Hotel.

On the plane, two women started to talk with us and they gave us advices about NY.

They were very friendly and wrote us in a paper many places to visit: parks, squares, restaurants...

We had 8 days to visit NY.

We arrived to NY on Friday evening and we paid for a shuttle get to the hotel. It was an interesting travel.

As it was late in the afternoon, we took a walk around the Central Park.

En principio este blog fue creado para contar mis viajes, anécdotas y compartir algunas fotos, pero mientras lo creaba, se me ocurrió escribir un poco en inglés.

No es que sea muy buena con idiomas pero, necesito practicar.

Si algún lector, detecta algún error gramatical u ortográfico, agradeceré que me rectifique en un comentario. Pero si  ven que son muchos los errores, por favor me llaman y me los dicen que pararé de escribir...jeje!!
