Mendoza, Argentina

I would like to talk about my hometown. I was born in Mendoza.

Mendoza is a city in the west of Argentina, in the east of the Cordillera de Los Andes.

After a big earthquake in 1861 the city was built around five squares.

The biggest square is Plaza Independencia and the other ones are strategically located: Plaza España, Plaza Chile, Plaza Italia and Plaza Independencia. They stand out by their symmetry.

Lisbon

We went to Lisbon last month for Christmas.

We arrived to the city on Saturday 22nd at 8 am.

We had to get up early to board the flight.

In Lisbon the weather was good, but there was fog. Because of that, the pilot landed the airplane in automatic mode!!

La Serena, Chile

After spending some days in Argentina, we went to visit La Serena in Chile.
We had never been in these country before.
La Serena is an important city of Chile after Santiago that is the capital of this country.

Amsterdam

I went to Amsterdam last year on October. We had a few days to visit this city.

We were ready to travel: umbrella and raincoats in our bags.

The weather in Amsterdam is wet so you can never forget these things because you’ll always need them.

Madrid

La escapada a Madrid la contaré en Spanish.

Fuimos en abril, para Semana Santa.

Ya conocíamos Madrid, pero teníamos ganas de visitar de nuevo esta cuidad.

Nos quedamos en un hotel en el barrio de Salamanca. Un NH cerca de la calle Serrano y el Paseo de la Castellana.

Esta zona está llena de tiendas espectaculares.

Para desayunar, encontramos en la misma calle del hotel, un bar-panadería de argentinos. Estaba muy bien, además de ser muy chic! (No me acuerdo del nombre)

Fue una sorpresa, encontrar en plena Capital madrileña procesiones.

Vimos la salida de la Procesión del Cristo de los Alabarderos del Palacio Real y el encuentro del Cristo yacente y la Virgen, en la procesión de la Soledad.
