Lanzarote - Canary Islands

Lanzarote is a beautiful island where you can relax and enjoy the landscape.

Last year we went there to celebrate my birthday.

We stayed in Lanzarote 4 days.

This time the hotel was in front of the beach in Arrecife city. The Hotel was called Lancelot.

Everyday we had breakfast in the hotel and then we went to visit the island.

In the airport we rent a car (Cabrera Medina agency) and we started to enjoy the travel.

We visited many places like a Cactus Garden and Cueva de los Verdes.

Jameos del agua: It's a cave where you can find albino crabs and you can see a pool design by Cesar Manrique (famous painter, sculptor, architect and artist)

The Timanfaya is a National volcanic park. This place reminds you that this Island is volcanically active!!

You can eat in a curious restaurant where their chef cook the meal to the heat of volcano.

We also visited El Golfo y Las Salinas de Janubio.

We watched the Carnival Queen and the Drag Queen Festival of Arrecife Carnival. It was great!

On Saturday night we found a good place to see the show.

We saw 5 Queen and 14 Drag Queen parading. They were fantastic. They were wearing perfect dresses and amazing make-up.

Next night the tickets for the final were sold out so we watched the show from outside. 

If we had known that many people gone, we would have gone earlier.
We bet that the winner would be Drag Ikaro and we were right! It was incredible how he moved on stage. 

We took many pictures of the Carnival Queen but we couldn't take pictures of the Drag Queen because we were far away.

Last day we visited White Beach. It was great!

Definitely, I recommend you visit this island.
